Thrace Conference Centre (sample venue)

All sessions take place on the ground and first floors.

The registration desk is in the main foyer, open from 08:00 every day.

From the airport: the conference shuttle leaves the arrivals hall at 08:00 and 17:30 on arrival days.

By bus: lines 2 and 5 stop outside the main entrance.

By car: free parking behind the building. The accessible entrance is on the east side, with step-free access to every room.

Power sockets are type C/F (230 V). Charging tables are next to the coffee area.

Partner hotels within 10 minutes' walk offer a conference rate until one week before the event. Quote RAISE26 when booking.

Welcome reception: day 1, 19:00, venue terrace.

Conference dinner: day 2, 20:00. Buses leave the main entrance at 19:30. Bring the dinner ticket shown in your registration.

Excursion: day 3 afternoon, for those who booked it.

Full papers have 15 minutes plus 5 minutes of questions. Short papers have 10 plus 5.

Upload your slides as PDF on your paper page the day before, and meet your session chair in the room 10 minutes before the session starts.

Posters: A0 portrait, put up during the morning coffee break on day 2.

Can I change my invoice details?

Yes, until you pay. Afterwards write to the organisers.

I paid but my registration still says awaiting payment.

Bank transfers take 1 to 3 working days. Upload your proof of payment to speed things up.

Will I get a certificate of attendance?

Yes. After the conference it appears under Certificates and badges, with a QR code anyone can verify.
